Arlene has been with Phoenix Homecare and Support for nearly 4 years. Arlene works in our Wrexham branch and has built a great bond with the people she provides care for.
Prior to working for Phoenix Homecare and Support. I had various jobs in pubs and salons etc, I am a qualified beauty and holistic therapist. I wanted a change in career, My first experience working in the health sector was a role as a kitchen assistant in a Care Home. After working here for a while I decided I’d like to become a Home Carer and Phoenix offered me the opportunity to broaden my experience, provided me training- I was able to gain my Health and Social care qualifications while working at Phoenix. While providing care and support within the community, I have met some interesting people. I enjoy looking after people and ensuring they have everything they need to make them feel cared for, respected and happy. I like to chat and joke with them and most of all, listen to what they have to say.
